What the election means for business
By Disruptors Co • Issue #176 • View online
It’s two weeks till the federal election and at Disruptors, we are focused on how business may be affected by the election result. Disruptors Co’s Lenore Johnston brings you Election 2022: Everything you need to know for your business which looks at the policy offerings by Labor and the Coalition and what they mean for business.
In our last issue we introduced C2 Create and Collaborate: Careers for Women the program of hacks for women students and new graduates, creating pathways for women into traditionally male-dominated technology or technical firms.
Drum roll, we now have a website at c2.theair.works, and our first hack is with University of Technology Sydney on 30 May, with 50 spots available. If you know a woman or non-binary person looking to change their career or step into one over the next year, please tell them to come along. They will meet others like them, and they will have an opportunity to work with these future-focused organisations to build pathways to women-led teams. They may even win an internship. The event is free to attend - its win-win-win for all!
If you’d like to know more about C2 Create and Collaborate and our partnership with UTS and RMIT, sponsored by the National Careers Institute, contact us, or visit the website.
